MEET THE TEAM

The Sheerins

Hello! We would like to introduce our family to yours. We are locals here to Moore County and LOVE our little community! We are the two proud parents of four amazing children and two furry family members. We have two boys and one girl with another on the way. All of which are under the age of ten so pray for us! Each of our children carry such amazing gifts and we could not be prouder of them. Our oldest son is an incredible baseball player and has a heart for serving others while our second son has a beautiful love for music and takes his guitar to church every Sunday to play along. Then there is our daughter who is quite the firecracker and keeps us on our toes every second of every day with a boldness within her that I have never witnessed in a child!

Eric is a native to the area and spent most of his childhood growing up in Pinehurst and attended Pinecrest High School before going on to UNC Chapel Hill. I on the other hand spent most of my childhood in Utah and have lived here for almost ten years now! Eric is the outdoorsy athletic type whereas I tend to lean more towards the creative side of things with a love for writing children’s books. When not working you can likely find us at the lake, baseball fields, or amongst our awesome church family. Both sides of our family live here which has been the greatest blessing of all and gives us endless opportunities to spend time with the ones closest to us.

There are so many things we love about being locals to Moore County but what we have enjoyed most is all the new relationships we have made since beginning our careers in selling merchant accounts. We believe strongly in pulling together and supporting each other in each of our endeavors and are so excited to continue serving the businesses here in our hometown. We look forward to getting to know you better and growing together in this amazing community of ours!

Hello! I would like to introduce myself to you. I am a local here to Moore county and have been for almost 20 years now. My son also lives here with his wife and three children, as well as my daughter and her husband. Needless to say, that makes me one happy parent/grandparent! I knew immediately upon moving here that this would be the place my family and I would call home. The small-town charm and community that happens here is truly incredible and I am so honored to be a part of it.
Being busy is a habit of mine and I am typically working and running errands all over town so if ever we cross paths again make sure to stop and say hello! I love meeting new people and am known to be a social butterfly. When not working I spend my days at the lake with my two dogs who are the absolute loves of my life. I enjoy an array of things mostly involving the outdoors, but the top of my list is spending time with my family. Being a grandparent is one of the greatest gifts in life.

Since teaming up with my son and his wife with Payments in the Pines, I have had the honor to meet many different local business owners. That has been such a blessing as many great friendships have evolved. I am a strong believer in supporting local and believe that coming together as a community in support of each other is the best thing we can do to keep our community strong. I look forward to getting to know you better hope to cross paths again soon!

Hello! I would like to introduce myself to you. I am a local here to Moore county and have been for about 10 years now. I followed my sister here and immediately knew it would become home to me. I originally spent most of my childhood in Utah and although the scenery there is beautiful, there is something special about being near the ocean and all its wonders. The kindness of the community here is what ultimately sold me. The southern hospitality that I have experienced is something I will never forget.

There are many things I love but the one who holds my heart is my dog Lily. She is about 4 years old and completes me. Coming home from a long day to find your best friend waiting is the best feeling in the world. During the week you will likely find me at the shops, out with friends, or lounging at the lake. Some of my hobbies include reading, spending time with family, being at the lake, and just about anything outdoors! I love trying new things and have a very spontaneous spirit. A dream of mine is to see as much of the world as possible and experience different cultures. One thing I love about our community is the small town feel that makes everyone feel so connected. Although traveling the world is a must for me, I have no doubt that this will always be my true home.

Being in business with my sister is one of the greatest blessings. I love getting to work alongside her and her husband and saving you money is a bonus! It gives me purpose to know that I am able to pour into our community by helping local businesses keep the money they deserve. I could not ask for a greater career than meeting all of you and gaining new friendships that keep us all connected in the most important ways. My greatest hope is that we can continue to support each other and build up a stronger community than ever!

Hello and thank you for visiting Payments In The Pines. I’m happy to share some information about myself.

First and foremost, I am blessed to have three exceptional children and three grand children. All are happy and healthy in their lives. This is a great source of happiness and contentment.

After arriving to the US from Germany , my mom and I settled outside of Chicago. I was 4 at the time and then we moved outside of the city where I grew up on a 40 acre farm. It was a great place to grow up. The only downside was the work. I wasn’t too excited about working every Saturday especially since none my friends had to. Eventually I understood it was a good experience.

Fast forward, I graduated college from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. After college I began working for Hilton at the O’Hare Hilton. I remained in the hotel industry for 32 years. During that time, I had the opportunity to have leadership positions at ten properties. This included iconic properties such as the Palmer House in Chicago, The Greenbrier in West Virginia and Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina. Overall it was an great career and it offered some pretty nice perks. While moving around had its stresses, it was also exciting at the same time. Overall, I believe it also helped our kids become more resilient to changes.

This next chapter with Payments in the Pines will also be exciting. I’m looking forward to partnering with many businesses in central Florida.
